Create Your Own Fundraiser

You can support cavernous malformation and noncancerous brain tumor research by creating a peer-to-peer fundraising event.

Peer-to-peer fundraising is any group fundraising activity that engages participants to raise funds via your own social media or social network on behalf of Be Brave for Life.  It’s that easy! Basically, you come up with an event idea, tell your friends and family about the need to raise funds for help with research (it’s terribly underfunded), and then you ask them to support your efforts by making a donation to Be Brave for Life. Plus we can help!

Proven Winners

  • Set a physical goal, like running a 10k, swimming a 1/2 mile, walking each day for a month, doing your 1st tri or tough mudder, or taking 10 spin classes in a month.
  • Ask your friends to donate to Be Brave for Life in lieu of gifts to your wedding, for your birthday or in celebration of your anniversary
  • How about getting your whole neighborhood involved and hosting a garage sale or a bake sale.

There are so many fun ways to create an event and truly make a difference.
