Halley Grabarz Monforte, 34, passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 at her home on Jennifer Lane in Manchester, Vermont surrounded by her family. Halley was born in Greenwich, Connecticut on February 20, 1984 and was the daughter of Charles Gary and Mary Scranton Grabarz. After moving to Manchester, she attended Manchester Middle School, graduated from Burr & Burton Academy in 2002 and received her Bachelor Degree from Castleton University.
Most recently, Halley loved working as a teacher at Take Five Daycare in Manchester. Her biggest love was hockey. She loved playing every moment she could and loved coaching the sport as well. Halley was a huge Disney fan and enjoyed any family time at the ocean. She was passionate about the theater, enjoyed all show tunes especially her favorite show, Rent.
Above all, Halley’s true love and passion for life was spending time with her family especially her children. Halley is survived by her husband Zachary, her children, Camryn, Genevieve and Connor Monforte; her parents, Gary and Mary Grabarz of Manchester, her brothers Drew and Cord Grabarz, also of Manchester; her mother-in-law, Constance Monforte of Warrensburg, NY and her cousins, nieces and nephews.
